Mildred Louise Barlow – of Knoxville went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at the age of 90.  Mildred was a true servant of God.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and sister-in-law.

Preceded in death by loving husband of 57 years, Albert Barlow; daughter, Kathy Howerton; son-in-law, Don Howerton.

She leaves behind son, Steve (Sally) Barlow; granddaughters, Tiffany Howerton and Brandi Howerton; grandsons, Ace Carroll and Brandon Carroll; brother, Calvin (Mary) Lee; and sister-in-law, Shirley Lee.

The family would like thank the staff at the Lantern at Morning Pointe in Clinton for their great care.  The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Friday, July 23, 2021, at Bridges Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 7:00 PM with Rev. Bob Evans officiating.  Family and friends will meet 1:45 PM Saturday at Eastview Memorial Gardens for a 2:00 PM interment.  Arrangements by Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 865-523-4999.

So sorry for your loss Steve. It is beyond difficult to accept the loss of your mother and grandmother. But death is a mere pathway to life eternal with our Lord. She is home and awaiting the arrival of her family.
